There is a variety of shops available before and after security at Aberdeen Airport (ABZ), with favourite stores represented on both sides. Well known shops include Alpha Books Plus, Baxters and World News, while World Duty Free (after security) features tax-free prices on alcohol, tobacco, perfumes, sunglasses and electronics.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
Aberdeen Airport has a wide variety of eateries, with cafés, restaurants and bars. The Food Hub is particularly good and has outlets on both sides of security. Many of the airport's restaurants have children's menus and prices are in-line with those of UK high street outlets.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
There is a bureau de change booth opposite the information desk, before security, that stays open seven days a week, while cash machines are also available at either side of the information desk. The British Airways Executive Lounge has business facilities for frequent flyers at the airport and the nearby Aberdeen Airport Thistle Hotel also has conference and business facilities.
Disabled Facilities
Like all other airports in the UK, Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) conforms to the correct standards for the comfort of disabled passengers, with adapted toilets, telephones and ramps for ease of movement. There are also reduced-rate parking spaces at the short-term car park for the disabled who display an orange disabled badge.
